Industrial Chic Triumph

Ciao, 

oggi siamo in Belgio, in un villaggio poco distante da Bruxelles.

Siamo nella favolosa casa di Eugenie, 

artista-scenografa impegnata in teatro e in televisione.

Hi,
today we are in Belgium, in a village not far from Brussels.
We're in Eugenie's fabulous House,
she's an artist and a set designer.

Gli ampi spazi e metrature vi dicono che un tempo

questa casa era una fabbrica;

era il rifugio di un altro artista:

il nonno di Eugènie

The wide spaces and the high ceilings
tell you that this used to be a workshop;
in fact it was Eugenie's grandfather workshop and like her, he was an artist as well.

Adoro questi ampi spazi così pieni di luce,

probabilmente Eugenie ha fatto aggiungere queste vetrate dall'aspetto tipicamente provenzale, per creare nuovi ambienti

e il risultato è un industrial shabby davvero eccezionale

I love these large spaces full of light,

Eugénie probably added the huge windows to create new rooms

and the result is a perfect, fantastic industrial shabby decor

Ovunque elementi shabby e industrial chic

linee semplici e arredi essenziali

trionfo di bianchi e colori polverosi

come qui, nel bagno

Industrial shabby chic elements are everywhere,

and everywhere lines and design are essential

it's the triumph of white and dusty colors

like in the bathroom below.
