You really should visit Venice these days

the Carnival is on 

and the city looks like is a unique live party

with dressed up people everywhere,

fabulous masks, jugglers and acrobats, masked balls

to make you revive the magic atmospheres of the XVIII century.

Sapete, dovreste proprio fare un salto a Venezia

Questi sono i giorni del Carnevale e la città è un'unica grande festa

con gente in maschera ovunque,

maschere bellisssime, giocolieri ed acrobati, balli nei palazzi per

farvi rivivere le magiche atmosfere del XVIII secolo.

Everyone once in his life should live the emotion of

a magic night dancing

at one of the many palaces holding

exclusive parties!

Tutti, almeno una volta nella vita

dovrebbero vivere 

la magia di una notte a palazzo,

partecipare al gran ballo di un party esclusivo!

Maybe wearing a vintage costume,

full of laces and beads...

Magari indossando un abito vintage

ricco di pizzi e perle...

wow!

Tessuti del Doge, when fabrics become ART !

This is a little story I would like to share with you,

it's the story of a passion from the heart,

a deep love for a city, Venice,

the history of one of its most ancient and fascinating traditions:

ART FABRICS.

Tessuti del Doge (the Doge's fabrics)

was Lisa and Valentina's creature, they wanted the old tradition of silk velvets printed by hand by means of wooden-blocks to revive.

Once the collection ready, they produced all sorts of items, from soft furnishing to fashion.

This is what they made 

Questa piccola storia mi piacerebbe condividerla con voi.

E' la storia di una grande passione,

di un amore profondo per una città, Venezia,

e di una delle sue più antiche tradizioni:

Vi presento  "Tessuti del Doge"

creatura di Lisa e Valentina, che han voluto

far rivivere l'antica tradizione dei velluti di seta impressi a mano

con blocchi di legno

Una volta pronta la collezione di stampi e tessuti,

han dato vita a tanti oggetti, complementi d'arredo e capi d'abbigliamento.

These few lines are certainly not enough to tell the world behind these fabrics.
But I wanted to share a bit of it with you, hope you enjoyed.

Certamente queste poche frasi non possono dare l'idea di quanto grande sia il mondo dei tessuti d'arte.
Ma ne ho voluto condividere un pezzetto con voi
