non so bene come iniziare questa breve storia,
(quella sopra sembro io sognante dopo aver scoperto....)

che vuole parlare ovviamente di casa, di una casa come credo poche, una casa piena di fascino e
di sorprese.
Non è la casa di un'interior designer, piuttosto di un'artista, illustratrice, designer francesce molto conosciuta, per la quale non posso che provare un'enorme ammirazione:
lei è Claire Guiral , nota come Miss Clara, per me una fata, una vera fata
capace di piccole grandi magie che fanno bene agli occhi e al cuore!

I do not exactly know where to start from with this little story.
( the little dreaming lady above looks like me after reading...)
No doubt it will tell of a beautiful home, one like a few others; an enchanting home, full of surprises.

Clara vive a Bordeaux in una casa del 1897,
la sua casa è anche il luogo in cui lavora,
all'interno infatti ha allestito ben due atélier , uno verde e uno grigio,
nei quali passa gran parte del suo tempo.
L'arazzo dipinto su carta e incollato su tessuto abbellisce la parete di pietre a vista
le tante gabbiette sono qui oggetti di decoro, nelle quali Clara ha riposto alcune delle sue creazioni
Clara lives in Bordeaux in a house dating back to 1897,
her house is also her working place, in fact she has decorated two atéliers inside: the green and the grey one, where she spends most of her time.
The wallhanging has been painted on paper and glued to a piece of fabric so to embellish the bricked wall; the many bird cages hare used as art objects in which Clara has placed some of her dolls and miniatures.
Clara è riuscita a trovare il perfetto equilibrio fra la necessità di avere una casa funzionale e a misura di famiglia il desiderio di esprimere la sua creatività, con scenografie studiate nei dettagli per suscitare meraviglia.
( ho la bocca spalancata da prima io!!)
Clara has succeded in finding the perfect balance between a functional, manageble house and the desire to express her creativity through well conceived scenographies aiming to arouse surprise!

I lavori di Clara sono dappertutto
e in qualunque modo siano messi,
sembra escano da una favola...
Clara's works are everywhere,
and everywhere as casually left
they seem to come for a fairy tale..

custodisce i tanti materiali da lavoro di Clara
sotto, bottoni, spille e fibbie
attendono il loro turno...

La stanza da letto di una fata non poteva che essere verde!
(ora che ci penso...anche la mia camera è verde.. Oddio, allora sono un afata anche iooo???!!)

qui la vediamo all'opera nel suo atélier grigio, ovunque i suoi lavori, le miniature, i tanti personaggi che poi ama disegnare nei libri per bambini
Here below she's in the grey atélier: everywhere her artworks, her miniatures, the many characters she loves drawing in the children books
... ma il mio preferito non poteva che essere l'atélier verde
per il quale si è ispirata a un quadro di madame Pompadour

a rendere l'atmosfera polverosa

è quanto basta!

e infine, alcuni dei suoi personaggi
provenienti dalle sue illustrazioni, dalle carte, cartoline e quaderni che produce instancabile
come se una fata avesse deciso di prendere
posto in lei, a regalare a tutti noi momenti di vera magia!
... and in the end some of her characters, coming from
her illustrations, her papers, her postcards and books she tirelessly makes
as if a fairy decided to live in her
for us all to live moments of real magic!
