ll tavolino ritrovato | The old rediscovered Table

Un paio di anni fa, m'era presa la mania del bianco. Dopo una breve ricerca su quali prodotti utilizzare, la scelta era caduta sulle bellissime Chalk Paints di Annie Sloan e così, in men che non si dica, il vecchio tavolino, con intarsi in legno di rosa,  era diventato un all white table, dall'aspetto molto nordico!

Poi, come spesso accade, si cambia opinione, l'all white diventa noioso, dentro ai nuovi ambienti ci stà e non ci stà.. insomma ripensavo a quegli intarsi... al fatto che ora amo molto gli ambienti nordici, ma con un tocco d'umanità, con tocchi di colore della vita... e così...

tra sverniciatore (che consiglio vivamente) -il mio l'ho acquistato da Brico, ne troverete di tutti i tipi e prezzi - carte vetrate di grammature diverse, pennelli e prodotti di finitura vari,  ho riportato il tavolino alla sua essenza.. e che soddisfazione!

ora mancano i pomelli, li vorrei trovare in vetro, possibilmente vecchi, anni '40. se avete qualche suggerimento da darmi, mi farete felice.

English text: A couple of years ago I was obsessed by white, so after a short search for the right paint to use, I ended up with selecting the beatiful Chalk Paints by Annie Sloan and in no-time the old table with rose inlay works became a perfectly white and nordic-style table.  Then, as it often happens, we change our minds, the all-white became a bit boring, I did not much appreciated it inside the new house and the thought of those inlay works did not leave me, so...  with the help of a good paint remover (much appreciated) - I bought mine from Brico, they have a large variety and different prices - sand papers, brushes and finishing products, I brought the old table back to  its original beauty. Wow, what a big satisfaction it was! Now I'm looking for the knobs, I would like to find some glass old ones, may be from the Fourties... any suggestion from you guys will be very appreciated indeed. nostri ospiti e sui quali magari abbiamo riportato delle ricette,

dei consigli su come coltivare le erbette aromatiche o altro ancora!!

Or, we can use  them on a simple piece of twine,

to hang some lightweight little papers

with, may be some delicious recipies, or other useful

tips on how to grew herbs or whatever

and which will be plucked down at the end of teh party!!
